Good fun session that was a little unexpected. Wind filled in nicely around midday so headed over with a selection of kit. Couldn't quite decided what to rig but as it was quite onshore decided to go big with my 5.7m sail and 100 ltr board.

Once on the water it was fine with plenty of power to get out through the waves and head upwind a little and maybe a little too much when bearing away fully.

Sailed all the way into Borth at one point, gybing offshore of the reefs followed by a crazy broad reach back to Ynyslas. The wind kept increasing and I should really have changed down to a a 5m sail and/or a smaller board but it's not the time of year to be messing about on the beach so I just hung on and hoped for the best.

Excellent session all in all and would have been 5 stars had the sun been shining!
